Please, come and support our event at Carnegie Hall, October 22nd 2017 at 2pm. Adam Gyorgy prepares his new repertoire to welcome you. Post concert reception passes are available with a $250 donation on our site.

Adam Gyorgy will perform a unique one-hour program at Carnegie Hall with no intermission with works of Frederic Chopin, Franz Liszt, and his own. The audience will begin this musical journey with Adam Gyorgy’s improvisations, which always tells a genuine and personal story of Adam’s emotional experiences. This 20-minute section includes melodies from Adam Gyorgy’s childhood, including well known Hungarian folk songs and his own simple melodies and finished with Chopin’s Nocturne in C minor (Op. 48, No. 1). Afterwards, Mr. Gyorgy will continue with his favorite romantic repertoire from Frederic Chopin and Franz Liszt. The following two miniatures: two Chopin Mazurkas (C-sharp minor, Op. 6, No. 2 and a minor Op. 17, No. 4) are Chopin’s not so often played short masterpieces.

As a detour from poetry and before the meaningful coda of the afternoon, Mr. Gyorgy quickly revisits his favorite repertoire with two of his often played virtuosic pieces, Franz Liszt’s Rigoletto Paraphrase and “La Campanella.” Following the poetic beginning and his virtuosic interlude, Mr. Gyorgy finishes his program with the rarely played composition of Franz Liszt: Legend No. 2 in E major and one of Mr. Gyorgy’s all time favorites, Frederic Chopin’s Scherzo No. 2.

Adam Gyorgy’s ability to connect with his audience is remarkable whether in a small, intimate concert or a large, highly televised performance. Adam creates a magical experience by intertwining beautiful music and atmosphere that connects cultures and various environments, which creates a signature Adam Gyorgy experience incomparable to others. The inspiration of this evening’s program comes from the mantra of The Adam Gyorgy Foundation: invest in talent, inspire excellence. All proceeds of this Carnegie Hall concert will be donated to The Adam Gyorgy Foundation.

To celebrate the 15th Anniversary of his international career, Adam Gyorgy will be returning to Carnegie Hall on February 21st, 2016.

He will perform a unique 90 minute program, showcasing his best repertoire from the past 15 years.

Adam will take the audience on a journey, starting his program with his own composition “A Day in New York” which tells a genuine and personal story of Adam’s emotions about New York, and explains what it means to him to be a New Yorker. Then, he continues with his best classical repertoire from Franz Liszt.

The grandioso Liszt Sonata in B Minor is a 30-minute long masterpiece, talking about a human life with all its happiness and struggles. It is unquestionably the most difficult and beautiful work in the piano literature. The masterpiece is followed by three virtuosic Liszt transcriptions: the Verdi-Liszt Rigoletto Paraphrase shows Adam’s unique and very personal touch on the piano; the acrobatic Paganini-Liszt La Campanella; and his final piece, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, which has already gained over a million views on YouTube with his outstanding interpretation.
