The Full Cycle
In the past decade The Adam Gyorgy Foundation completed the full cycle. Our mission was clear. The cycle started with identifying talents globally, continued with nurturing these talents throughout out summer programs and closed with helping them to launch their careers with a debut at our annual concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.
In all societies, music is a common language which helps one to find a place in the community, by helping one to get closer to himself. As music bridges a variety of different cultures, it helps us to focus on our similarities rather than on our differences.
In this way, music education plays a key role in the society of future generations, by emphasizing human values, and enabling all generations to connect beyond geographical borders.
The Adam Gyorgy Foundation’s mission is to play an instrumental role in contemporary society’s music education, by supporting arts in the United States, Hungary, and around the world, and supporting students’ participation at the Adam Gyorgy Castle Academy.

As you all know, The Adam Gyorgy Castle Academy has been the home for many talented young musicians for over a decade now. The global pandemic has strongly affected the music world and the life of many kids by limiting their access to music education for weeks or even months. While we are unable to welcome our students this year, we still know well that some of the most important factors of raising a musical child beyond possessing substantial knowledge in music is passion to pass this knowledge forward, and consistency.
We are grateful for our faculty for bringing the widest range of knowledge and experience for many years with unparalleled passion. We feel responsible to offer a program to our kids during these challenging time which secures consistency in their education.
The Adam Gyorgy Foundation launched its Virtual Academy in 2020, providing one on one piano lessons for students in 4 time zones with professors from leading institutions. Dr. Steven Spooner joined us from Peabody Conservatory, Dr. Orsolya Szabo from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Benjamin Loh from Singapore, Ory Shihor and myself complete the faculty for the Virtual Academy in 2020..
As many of the kids stay home, they have increased time to work more with their instruments. The Virtual Piano Academy did not only help them access important knowledge which they desperately need now, but represent continuity and hope during these uncertain times. During our initial test phase, we have learnt that with current technology, we can make a huge difference with offering and online program.
